The first day of conference was a bit challenging for me.  I was having a hard time staying focused on the task at hand because my mind was constantly wandering to my To-Do list for Pineapple Studios.   It was interesting how this affected my body and my mood.  I was feeling lethargic and uneasy. Later that day in my hotel room I had an “ah-ha” moment.  I decided that I should treat these 5 days as if I am on vacation.  I am in a brand new city with so much to explore.  And even though I am here for a conference, I can still find was every day to treat myself.  My perspective immediately changed and my mood went from lethargic to recharged.  I drove to Marietta and Roswell GA on Friday and had a fantastic day.  I had lunch at SEED, a cupcake at Gluten Free Cutie, and a glass of champagne at Plum Tree Bistro with plenty of walking and exploring in between.  It turns out I am pretty good at vacationing!  Yesterday I was more able to focus and appreciate each moment of the conference.  I was more present… and isn’t that our main goal in life?
