6 week series- LEMONADE SET Intermediate II

Looking to take your wheel skills up a notch? Do you have prior clay knowledge but need a class setting to help you focus? Check out our newest offering: INTERMEDIATE II
Who this class is for: anyone with the ability to center 2+ lbs of clay, able to pull clay at least 6” high, and has basic trimming knowledge. Students in the class should be interested in learning from more in-depth demos, and eager to work in a collaborative group setting. Additional requirements include: Willingness to make a mess (and then clean up said mess), flop a few pieces, strike up a conversation with your classmates, and enjoy the bliss of a beginner’s mindset. Must be 16yrs or older.
This 6 week class series is a project-focused class working on the construction of your very own lemonade set! Class time will include a mixture of demonstrations, work time, and discussions covering pitchers, cups, citrus juicers, and even a fruit bowl! This class is a great option for anyone looking to expand their clay knowledge as we will be covering a wide array of attachment styles and skills.
The cost of this series is $265.00 and does not include the cost of clay. Your series includes 6, 3 hour classes with thorough instruction. This also includes use of shared community tools, glaze materials, and kiln firings. You'll also receive your own shelf for storing your in-progress work.
Clay, with taxes included, is $21.40 for a 25lb bag. Plenty to last through your series! Please be prepared to purchase your bag of clay on night 1 of your class series. Clay MUST be purchased through Pineapple Studios to ensure proper firing for your lovely creations!
This series meets 6 consecutive Fridays from 3-6pm. Enrolled students have access to purchase and reserve independent work time during Open Studio hours Monday-Thursday 11-6pm and Friday-Saturday from 11-3pm. These hourly reservations are $4/hr, a perfect way to further explore your clay technique. Information on independent work reservations are given on the first night of classes.

Please note that week 6 is our glaze week. Missing this class night will require you to join a glaze workshop, or set up a private lesson with us at an additional fee.
